B-44 on scene 2.5 story dwelling fully involved and already going through the roof. Engine 37 laying off 2 -2½” lines to cover exposures. Rescue 1 reports unable to gain access due to hording conditions. B-56 assumes command and sets crews up for defensive ops with Truck 6 going airborne. Engine 21 report unable to make next hydrant and Engine 35 lays out feed to Utica st. Engine 37 opens deck gun into attic area. Crews stop defensive ops and attempt to gain access into dwelling for overhaul. Minimal entry gained due to hording conditions and defensive operations begin again. Extensive overhaul required. 2 Extra pumpers sent to assist with hose pick.
