Buffalo FD 2+ Alarm with Relief – 209 Doat st

East side alerted for a structure fire from 1 caller. Truck 14 on scene with heavy fire in a 2.5 story dwelling extending into #4 side dwelling requests extra 1&1 to scene. B43 updates with heavy fire in a vacant now extending into both 2&4 side exposures balances out 2nd Alarm. Crews working each with 2 lines in attics of both exposures while Truck 6 vents roof on #4 exposure roof. Water issues and more manpower needed on scene B-56 requests and additional 2&1 to scene. Truck 14 sets up for master stream operations on main fire bldg. Main fire bldg has a major collapse of attic and 2nd floor walls into driveways on each side. Extensive overhaul required for both exposures on 2nd floor and attics. City Engineer called to scene for excavator to pull apart main house as pockets of fire still persist under collapsed materials. Relief crews called to scene to babysit fire until excavator arrives. 2nd Alarm rigs: 3 Engines & 2 Trucks left scene for another fire on Broadway
