Smoke Pushing In Single Family House Fire Video

John Strangis At approximately 6:00 p.m, on Tuesday, Hemet Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire in the 300 block of South Thompson Street. When arriving on scene, crews located a two story family home with heavy smoke and flames showing.

Multiple callers reported the fire and alerted the occupants, who evacuated uninjured. HFD performed a heavy attack on all sides of the residence and had the fire knocked down in approximately 30 minutes.

The fire caused heavy damage to the house, which was rendered uninhabitable.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and no injuries were reported. Red Cross assisted in rendering aid to the displaced residents.
