Tuscan Firefighters Flashover Fire Video

Arizona Star on YouTube writes: (Posted on September 2014) While battling a three-alarm fire Saturday afternoon on West Alturas, on the city’s north side, Tucson Fire Department crews encountered a “flashover, one of the most dangerous situations that firefighters can be subjected to,” a department spokesman said, adding, “You can see in the video that the building basically explodes in smoke and fire, raising the roof off of the building.” No one was injured in the fire and crews were able to prevent it from spreading to nearby mobile homes.
