Early morning residential structure fire in the 3200 block of Maffett Street, Muskegon Heights, MI. The fire was reported by a neighbor who indicated no one was home. The on-duty crew quickly attacked the fire from the exterior while awaiting mutual aid from Norton Shores Fire Department.
There were no injuries and the home is repairable.
Fire investigation was done by Michigan State Police. State Police determined the fire to have started near an outlet in the living room.
