B-44 on scene heavy fire on 1st floor 2.5 story occupied dwelling. Fire extending to 2nd floor and exposure issues 2 & 4 sides. Extra 2&1 sent for manpower. Engine 19 makes entry via front door. Possible victim trapped was reported but never found. Rescue 1 in attic backs out due to fast advancing fire – thus giving way to Defensive Operations.
4 -1¾” & 1 -2½” Lines in use – Ladder 4 airborne and flowing.
