Montreal firefighters were working on a 3 alarm fire raging at the corner of 15th Ave and Crémazie E in St-Michel on January 23, 2013 on a cold -25C. After burning for over an hour firemen were told to evacuate the building. Some were trapped on the roof and had to escape to the next building with the help of a ladder. A 17 year old girl died in the blaze and the cause is still unknown.
