An Atlanta firefighter is recovering after being injured while fighting a house fire Saturday evening.
It happen at the 600 block of Federal Terrace. According to Atlanta Fire-Rescue Spokesperson Captain Jolyon Bundrige, the fire broke out shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday. The firefighter was working in the rear of the residence when part of the 2-story roof collapsed on him.
The firefighter was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
