FDNY Rescues Man From Hudson River
(CBS/AP) NEW YORK A fire department rescue crew pulled a man from the Hudson River off lower Manhattan on Monday after responding to
reports of a “man in the water” near a ventilator tower for the Holland Tunnel.

The victim “was chattering but not talking” when lifted from the 50-degree water, department spokesman John Mulligan said. He was taken to St. Vincent’s hospital for treatment of exposure.
